Surrounded by his prized custom bedroom furniture, Sir Aurthur Norton was ready to start his day. It was March 16, 1678, the most important day of the year. Sir Norton adjusted his cravat with the aid of the handsome, double-posted mirror that sat upon a similarly handsome double-columned, solid wood dresser. He'd always thought that the graceful arch at the top of the mirror perfectly complimented the refined curls of his wig.

Sir Norton finished his preparations with a few final items from the spacious dresser drawers - a dab of cologne from the bottle in the center drawer was deftly applied to his handkerchief, the pale brown gloves were drawn from their resting place in one of the wide top drawers, and a sturdy but handsome dagger found its way from its nighttime hiding place in the small, right drawer to its daytime place of abode under the nobleman's waistcoat...
