Cousin Edith once had a shaker table. It wasn't solid wood, though. And it wasn't very sturdy, either. That's why they called it "Shaker."

They sold that table after it finally fell (shook?) apart and bought a solid wood dining table like this one. I guess Edith finally figured out that it made more sense to go with high quality and buy solid wood that will last forever (well... almost). That's what we think, too - which is why this handmade Shaker table will never shake. Never.
